Safeguarding
Child-safe and PSEAH-aligned practice in all fieldwork, with screening of team members, codes of conduct and clear referral pathways.
KMSMJK Consulting is an inclusive research, monitoring and evaluation consultancy registered in Indonesia and Australia, working across Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
Our team’s experience spans youth-led and community networks, international NGOs, social enterprises, government ministries and development partners. We have designed programmes, been the people being evaluated, and led evaluations ourselves. That perspective shapes how we work: practical, respectful and grounded in context.
We work primarily in Indonesia, the Philippines and the wider ASEAN region, with offices in Jakarta and Canberra connecting us to partners across Asia and the Pacific.
A world where research, monitoring and evaluation are inclusive by default — and owned by the people with lived experience of the issues they study.
To produce rigorous, usable evidence with communities rather than about them, and to strengthen the people and institutions who act on it.
We value knowledge that comes from living an issue as highly as knowledge that comes from studying it.
We use robust methods and are honest about what the evidence can and cannot tell us.
We work with, and build up, local researchers, organisations and institutions.
Safeguarding, informed consent and data protection come before deadlines.
We design for decisions: findings that are timely, clear and actionable.
We see clients, communities and associates as partners in a shared purpose.
